The beautiful Storengdalen is a great starting point for fantastic nature experiences!
We have extensive experience with dog sledding and welcomes our guests to the farm in small groups, so that every guests get an authentic experience!
STORENGRUNDE - MINI ADVENTURE
Information about the trip:
After your welcome to our camp and a quick saftey briefing from your guide. You will step onto the sled and experience the magic of Storengdalen. This is our own scenic trail that winds beautifully through the snow-covered landscap.
you will spend approx 30-40 minutes mushing on the sled.
Because Storengdalen is a well-kept secret, you want encounter big crowds around – just you and the grou, the crisp arctic air and the rhythmic sound of your husky team working through the snowy landscape!
THE PERFECT INTRODUCTION:ideal for beginners who wants a small challenge, families, and anyone with a tight travel schedule in Bodø.
DRIVE YOUR OWN SLED:
2 guests share a sled with 4-6 huskies, and switch driving halfway!
COZY CAMPIRE!
Spend time cuddeling the dogs, taking photos, and warming up with hot drinks inside our traditional fire place!
HUSKY CAMP
On arrival at our Husky Camp, you can visit the kennel and do a «meet & greet» with the dogs. They really appreciate visits (and snacks!)
You also get to help with harnessing and getting the team ready for the trip.
Prepare for an enthusiastic noise level!
TRAVEL BY TRAIN
We are conveniently located just one hour by train from the county capital, Bodø. The train journey with Nordlandsbanen is a remarkable experience in itself!
If you’re arriving by train, let us know, and we’ll be happy to pick you up at the station. It’s a simple and eco-friendly option!

Northern Lights basecamp
Our kennel is perfectly located in Evenensdal where there is no light pollution. Say hello to our dogs and enjoy light refreshments and hot drinks by the fire while you wait for the Aurora Borealis…
