Dog sledding in Bodø!
From the 2025/2026 season, we will only offer dogsledding experiences from our Husky Camp / Farm in Saltdal.
The location is just a 10-minute longer drive (and also easily accessible by train) and allows us to provide you, as our guest, with an even better overall experience.

Dog sledding in salten
Join us on a fast-paced tour of our 6 – 8 km track in the beautiful Storengdalen! In this experience, you switch between driving the dog team yourself and sitting in the sled! Guaranteed a great experience!
Duration approx. 2 – 3 hours

Wonderful ego trip where you drive alone with your own dog team! The trip goes from our base camp into Northern Europe’s largest wilderness… An experience of a lifetime!

How to get here?
This experience is located in Misvær, and not at our husky camp in Saltdal. The address is Bjørnlia 62, 8100 Misvær. The easiest way to get here is via private car. (On the way here you will drive by Saltstraumen)
Safety first!
Safety first! We must take precautions regarding the weather and the road. We do not go ahead with the trip if there is a storm (not comfortable for you) or bad snow conditions (not fun for the dogs).
Terms and Conditions
Shit happens! We will, as far as possible, try to help you if you want to change a booking you have made through us. If you have to cancel completely, the following deadlines apply:

What to bring?
We recommend that you bring the following with you:
- Warm clothes (preferably woolen clothes, and 3 layers)
- Good – and warm – shoes
- Hat, scarf and mittens
If you have not ordered food, we also recommend that you take a packed lunch and water with you. We provide hot drinks.
Suitable for children?
Yes! Dog sledding is a great family activity! The children can greet the dogs and help prepare the sled.
Children under the age of 16 ride in the guide’s sled.
Are there physical fitness requirements?
This trip is suitable for everyone. You will get to be a passenger in the sledge, so you do not have to run, push etc.
