saltenguidene were started by Lars as an extension of his own interest in hunting, fishing and hiking with dogs.

The kennel is located close to Junkerdal National Park, and from there we can mush straight into northern Europe’s largest wilderness area.

Our husky camp is home to 21 dogs. We have a mix of both Siberian Huskys and Alaskan Huskys. In addition you will find one german wirehaired pointer used for hunting.

The dogs love winter, snow and going on adventures with our guests. They all have a kind spirit and love cuddles!
